What items can be personalized?
Items that are available to be personalized are identified with a blue ‘Monogram It’ button below the sizing selection buttons on the product page. Click on the button, choose your options and confirm your selections to create your custom style.
What is the price to personalize an item?
The price to personalize an item ranges from $8-$22 depending on the personalization and processing time selected. Prices are updated on the interactive monogram page as you configure your selections and listed at checkout.
Does personalization impact shipping time?
Please allow additional processing time for your item to be personalized. Our CURRENT standard personalization processing time is 2 weeks, but we offer rush personalization processing of 1 week for an additional fee. Standard shipping will add 5-7 business days to your selected personalization processing time. We do offer expedited shipping for an additional fee, but please note that this will not rush your personalization processing time. If there are multiple items in your order, they will ship together when the personalization is complete. If you need an item in your order quicker, we recommend you place separate orders.
Please note that the estimated ship date for a pre-order item that is monogrammed may not show up in your confirmation email or on the checkout page. We are currently working to adjust this on our website. Please note that the estimated ship date will be on the product page when you are placing this order.
Can personalized items be returned?
Personalized items are custom-made and cannot be cancelled or returned. We cannot make changes after an order is placed, so please review and confirm your personalization selections and spelling before you place your order. If you believe your personalized item is defective or there is an issue due to our error, please send us an email at customerservice@stitchyfish.com with your order number and we will be happy to assist you.
How many characters can fit in a name?
The maximum number of characters will be listed when you configure your personalization. The preview photo allows you to see the approximate location and size for each font selected. Please review and confirm the preview of your personalization selections and spelling prior to placing your order.
In what order should the letters be in a 3 letter monogram?
Please list the letters in the order you wish them to appear on the item. For traditional monograms, this would be first initial, last initial, middle initial. We will create your personalization based on the order of the letters you entered. The preview photo allows you to see the approximate location and size for each style selected*. Please review and confirm the preview of your monogram selections and letter order prior to placing your order.**
*Please note that the smaller sized items will have the three letters in a smaller space and may be closer together.
** Please note that the certain letters (i.e. M's, J's, W's, and F's) may have variations and appear more squished in Scalloped Circle, Diamond, and Block Circle fonts.
Where does personalization appear on an item?
Character size and presentation varies based on the style you choose and the number of characters. In general, the more characters you enter, the smaller each letter will be. The approximate location and size of the personalization will be shown in the preview image after you make your selections. Our personalization team will make the best choice for each size and style. Therefore, the personalization location may vary slightly and may not appear exactly as shown. Please note that when embroidering the pocket on a t-shirt, the pocket will be sewn closed. For items with print or patterned backgrounds, we recommend bold or block styles for best results. Personalization may cover all or part of the print on an item. Please review and confirm all selections and spelling before placing your order.
Can I get additional customization, like special capitalization or a two-line name?
At this time, we are not able to accommodate personalization special requests. We do hope to offer more choices in designs and placement in the future.
